Empowering Growth: The YXL Mission in 2026

Welcome to the first entry of the YXL blog. When we founded this organisation in 2020, we had one simple but powerful goal: to ensure that every young person, regardless of their challenges in mainstream education, has a path to success.

Education is not a one-size-fits-all journey. For many students, the standard classroom environment can feel like a barrier rather than a bridge. At YXL, we specialise in removing those barriers through bespoke mentoring and specialised alternative education.

As we move through 2026, we are proud to be working with local authorities across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, and beyond. This year, our focus is on expanding our Career Readiness programmes, ensuring that our students don't just finish their education, but transition confidently into the workforce.
